也许你记着你的生日Party进行的时候，但我担心一年后你就记得宴会上的喧闹了。所以我有必要把宴会结束后发生的事记下来。

在6月16日，一切都结束。我们一起上楼时，你突然回头对我笑了一下。

“赵主任，其实我今天还有个秘密要告诉你。嗯……本来是想对Caroline说的，但现在她出差在外，就让你代替她的位置好了。”

“秘密?在这里说恐怕会有人偷听，我们还是到你的办公室里说好了。”

“也对哦！哪我们快回办公室吧！”

我跟着蹦蹦跳跳的你进了办公室。在那里，你从你的桌子下面拿出了一个蛋糕。这让我有些有奇怪，在派对上，我们已经吃过了蛋糕在内的不少零食，而你也不是什么特别喜欢零食的人。

“赵主任，你过生日时许的愿望实现了吗？”你认真地问我。

这让我思考了一会。在过生日时我许过什么愿望呢？印象比较深的有小时候许愿考班级第一或者得到金庸的武侠小说全集。还有去年过生日时许愿让年新增异常量减少到500以下等等。不过我的成绩最好时也在全班三四名左右徘徊，年新增异常数量也一直是在700左右居高不下。只有金庸的武侠小说。现在是集齐了，可也是在许愿的十多年后.……

“一次，只有一次实现了，还不是十岁的时候。”最后，我如是跟你说。

“是吗？”那还真是遗憾，不过也许不是你的愿望有多难实现，而是你许愿的方法不对呢。”

  “嗯哼？”

“我前几天遇见Wilson博士时，他跟我说要在出生的那一分钟许愿和吹蜡烛，这样就跟在十岁生日时许愿一样了。而且据他本人的经历——虽然不知道是不是真的——很灵的。如果你愿意听的话，我把他的故事讲给你。”

然后，我听着你以Wilson的口吻讲诉了那个故事。在这个过程中，你的眼睛就像动漫角色的眼睛一样—— 美丽的仿佛加上了高光特效。

但在我十二岁生日前三天，我奶奶突然说，不能这样过了，孩子十二岁的生 是一生中最重要的生日。我想这一部分是因为对姐姐的愧疚吧，——姐姐没有活到十二岁，她八岁那年就病故了。

那么十岁生日要怎么过呢？要买一个大蛋糕，插上十根蜡烛，在出生的时刻许一个愿，一定要在出生的那一刻许愿，不能早一分，也不能晚一分，心愿才能实现。

奶奶了证实她的说法很灵验，还给我们讲了她十岁生日的故事。奶奶说她十岁那年，雪很大，她出生的那天也刚好落雪......算了，不说了，还是接着说Wilson生日的事吧。

那个时候，家里穷，买十支蜡烛不成问题，要买一个大蛋糕就很成问题。但爸爸妈妈决定给我过一个奶奶说的那样的生日。

奶奶和妈妈连夜做了几套绣花被面，在第二天带到集市上卖了。爸爸是木匠，他熬了一个通宵做一个精致的首饰盒，卖给一位盛气凌人的太太。

弟弟在上学，我生日的前几天，他们学开运动会，他就使劲跑使劲跑，得了个第一。学校奖给他一双球鞋，他一直很想要一双球鞋，但他让奶奶和妈妈把它带到集市上卖给了别人；小妹妹………哦，她还小，才三岁，帮不了什么，除了帮奶奶和妈妈拿针线。

就这样，家人们为我挣来了买一个大蛋糕的钱。

我是半夜两点十八分出生的，那天晚上，大家都没睡，就连最小的妹妹都很精神。一家人围着一个香喷喷的大蛋糕说话，不时看一眼那个黄褐色的老座钟—那钟走得比平时任何时候都慢！

终于，两点十五分了，蜡烛一根根插好，点亮。我两眼直直地盯着老钟，生怕错过了时间。

妈妈说，你不用这么紧张，闭上眼睛许愿吧，时候到了，我肚子会隐隐地痛，我叫你吹你就吹。

夜深人静的时候，大家又都不说话了，四周静的我都能听见自己的心跳。我闭上眼睛刚许完愿，就听到妈妈轻轻地说了一声：吹。

噗！我一口气吹灭了蜡烛。

家人们的眼睛都看着我，我明白他们是想知道我许了什么愿。

我正要说，窗外却传来了什么声音，那声音太弱了，但是因为四周太静了，所以我听见了，我们每个人都听见了，所有眼睛都盯着窗户。

多年后，我在读《哈利波特》时才学会描述这种声音。

那是猫头鹰的翅膀扑打窗户发出的声音。

当我打开窗户时，飞进来的果然是一只猫头鹰——在小说里充当魔法使的猫头鹰。它落在我面前，放下嘴里衔着的，用红丝带扎着的小小盒子，我打开它，看到里面装着一只钢笔——黑色和金色相间，精致但绝不奢华。

我抬起头，看到猫头鹰朝我眨了一下眼睛。 然后飞了出去。

虽然我眼里已经蓄满了泪水，但我确定它真的的朝我眨了一下眼睛。

我转过身去，泪流满面地对大家说：“这就是我的心愿，我想要一支钢笔。”

天知道十二岁的我为什么想得到一支钢笔，可我就是想要，想得要命。也许只是因为觉得铅笔写下的字不容易保留吧。

“蜡烛在哪里呢？”我看看你在办公室里拉开一个又一个的抽屉，脸上露出焦急的神色。

我一边帮你一起找，一边提醒你冷静下来想想蜡烛放在了哪里，可是我们把办公室翻遍了也没找到蜡烛。

“在哪里？在哪里？”随着时间一分一秒地过去，你的声音已经带上哭腔了，但蜡烛仿佛有意捉弄人一样还是不肯出现。

当我们的搜索扩大到同楼层的全部房间时，路过的Wilson博士也加入了搜索。可既使是这样，在九点三十分的时候还是不见蜡烛的踪影。而这时，你也终于忍不住了，坐在椅子上孩子气的哭了起来。 

我和Wilson连忙去安慰你，而此时我也感到十分不安。那个愿望在你心中到底有多重要呢？

这个念头出现在我脑海中时，把我吓了一跳。 虽然我们在Party上也使用了几个异常，但那是已经由异常理论研究专家们在一定程度上解明了的。

而且那会几十个斯克兰顿现实稳定锚都放在大厅里设置成待机状态。一有危险就会自动启动。如果让我在无防护的情况下接触异常，我恐怕没有那个胆量...

然而，看到你哭泣的样子，我的心在一瞬间坚定了。

我知道，今天晚上让你留下遗憾，我会自责一辈子的。

正当我准备开口询问你的愿望时，Dr.Wilson的手机突然响了。且不是他的通话提示音，而是定时器的提示音。

"Wilson, 那是....“我问他。

“呃，没..没什么，是闹钟而已！”Dr.Wilson有些慌张，他跳起来跑了出去，扔下一句话：“等等我，我马上回来！”

过了没有一分钟，他就回来了，看上去神采奕奕。

“满雪，你看这是什么？我在我的办公室里发现了这些蜡烛，不多不少，正好十六根。怎么样？我们快回去许愿吧。”

你停止抽泣，从Wilson手中接过了蜡烛。

“咦？这是——凉凉的，放在冰箱里了？”

Wilson显的有些局促。

“不，不是冰箱...15号档案库有奇术制冷……不对……我不知道。”他一边断断续续地说着一边快速看了一眼表。

也不知道是装没看清还是真没看清，他只说了一句“快来吧，时间不是刚好嘛！”就跑向了你的办公室。

我看了他一眼。拍拍你的后背，示意跟上去。

然后，在你的办公室里，Wilson点燃了16根插在蛋糕上的蜡烛。还不忘提醒你一句“别忘了许愿哦，相信我，很灵的！ ”

我看着你刚哭过的眼睛，不确定你是否还有许愿的力气。

出乎意料的是，你闭上眼睛许完愿，然后深吸一口气吹灭了蜡烛。
　　我顿时有些发怔，不知接下来该干什么。

但这种情况并没持续太久。很快，我的手机震动了一下，我把它拿出来看了一眼。

那是来自基金会员工信息网的一条信息，上面显示Site-CN-14的一位员工通通过安全检查回到了站点。而这位员工就是——出差在外的Caroline研究员。

“满雪，这就是你的愿望吧？如你所愿，你最好的朋友回来给你过生日了。”Wilson说。

看他的神色，他似乎有些遗憾的样子。不过他马上又露出笑容。“你看，我说过很灵的。”

“嗯，本来想许愿要一套在杂志上看过的私人定制的水手服的。有一点遗憾，一点点而已。不过既然Caroline回来给我生日，我也就开心了。”你说。我很高兴看到你脸上又有了笑容。

在那一个晚上，我的心里五味杂陈，但总体来说还是轻松的。

第二天早上，研究员Li找到我。

“赵主任，我听说昨晚你和河城满雪在一起，那我能不能问一下，真的有河城满雪说的那种……不在十岁生日许愿也能实现愿望的方式吗？”

“在我看来，真的有。”

“哇！好神奇。”

“怎么，你想收容它？”

“不是，下个月我就过生日了，我也想试一试。所以，赵主任，把细节告诉我吧。我会保守秘密的！”研究员Li满怀期待地看着我说。

这让那会的情形再次浮现于我的脑海………其实，你的那个愿望的实现，与你和Wilson都有关系……

Caroline研究员回来之后，我们就坐在桌子边分享那块蛋糕。同时Caroline跟我说着她是如何赶回站点的。 

听Caroline说，她在下午5点接到Wilson叫她快回来的信息后，马上就坚决地推托掉剩下的交流会议——这在她的职业生涯中还是第一次。

 然后她想乘最早的航班回来，却发现它们的起飞时间都晚于九点，最后还是求那边的站点主任让她乘一架货运飞机回来的………

“太冒险了，基金会货运飞机一直是各敌对GOI的首要目标，这又是晚上………”

虽然Caroline好端端地回来了，我还是很后怕，“说到底不过是小孩子的生日……”
　　“不是的。”Caroline打断我的话，她看着我，神色变得凝重起来，然后压低声音说，“Wilson…他其实是个孤儿。”

　　对面的两位少年都没听见她的话，他们已经玩起了把奶油往对方脸上抹的游戏，脸上的神情快乐而又满足。
　　

慢慢地，我想明白了一些事。
　
　那个故事是Wilson编的，可不是编的吗？5年前还没有发现十岁生日的异常吧？而那支钢笔——Caroline后来说，那是Wilson在16岁提前考上大学时，作为他的监护人的院长送给他的礼物。

在Wilson的故事里，过去和现在被打乱了，像揉面团一样揉在了一起，他真正想说的只是：他有很多亲人，亲人们都很爱他，会尽最大的努力为他过一个他想要的生日。而Caroline无论如何要赶回来，我猜，其实是想让他的故事更圆满一些吧。
　　

　　但这些我都没有对研究员Li说，我只要告诉他许愿的事就好了。而我看到Wilson异常的举止，听到半句“奇术制冷”后，就想到了许愿的“方法”。

我只告诉他，要想自己许的愿能够实现，最最重要的是要：“冰——蜡——烛。”
　　我拖长了声音，一字一句地说。
